In addition to the international contest where our corporate office broadcast live hour upon hour, several team hostesses won cash to trick out their parties.
We had so much fun cheering each other on and ran a contest within our group where I got to award even more fabulous prizes from free products to Pure Romance swag (so fun spoiling our girls!)!
Our Pure Romance All Star Team came in at #9 worldwide for the Pure Romance Booking Blitz earlier this month! Participating consultants booked 477 parties in 72 hours. Many brand new consultants learned just how easy it is to book when you really focus on it. The reward? Full calendars of course, PLUS a team pizza party (hmmm...thinking World Conference annual All Star Pizza & PJ party?!)
Women of the All Star team also exchanged creative booking strategies including this hot tip from Rachel Irwin of Ames, Iowa. Did you know this trick? I had no idea!
The upcoming months are so critical for our business. Parties held in April and May will set consultants up for a strong summer (which does NOT have to be slow! Please don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Summers are slow when WE take time off!) I'm grateful for the challenge, proud of my team and can't wait to see what the next few months bring with all these PARTIES!
My idea of a "Facebook Party" used to include finding a hostess, putting a Facebook event up and providing a link for guests to order products. Exciting, huh? It's probably no surprise that these "parties" weren't all that successful. I'd all but given up on doing parties online until I heard of consultants in other home party plans having success with them.
Probably the biggest "aha" moment I had in researching how to do these more effectively was to ditch the "extended party" format and literally get everyone in the same "room" (aka - FB event page) for 30 minutes. In the past I had kept events open for days...even weeks. I thought I was giving women more opportunities to order, but apparently I was actually killing sales.
I'm also enjoying teaching our All Star team members how to conduct effective parties on Facebook. We've done some fun activities week with our team and we have some really creative consultants, so I can't wait to see what they come up with!
