Aimee Mielke (Berlin Heights, OH) promotes to Director. Her group is flourishing and I LOVE having the opportunity to visit with them during my Cleveland, OH stops!
Jennifer McComb (based in Bakersfield, CA) sets a record for the FASTEST Director promotion in the history of our team, advancing to this level just a few months after joining.
NYC again! Me: "Where are we going?" Chris C. "It's rustic"
We end up at Beauty & Essex where pink champagne is served in the ladies room.
Back in Minneapolis during our team meeting, we "talk behind each others backs" in a positive way by slapping post-its on the backs of consultants with compliments. Here's what ended up on my back. Warmed my heart!
Board of Directors meet in Naples, Florida!

Whew! And that, my friends, was my Pure Romance life in 2013!
2013 by the numbers....
My personal retail sales: $76k
Team retail sales: $1.1 million
Override bonuses earned: $56k
Fun note - I was on the road (both for business and pleasure) for approximately 3 months of the last year! It was scary at first to be gone that much, but also liberating. I love the freedom to work wherever I choose! I also learned new time management skills along the way (by necessity)!
Typical work day at home usually begins with a leisurely cup of coffee - no rush hour to fight!
Now I know some are thinking that I must be working ALL the time. The truth is, I AM a bit of a workaholic. I love what I do and it doesn't feel like work.
That said, I've reigned myself in and for the past two years I do eight parties each month, or two a week CONSISTENTLY which allows me to also sponsor consistently and work with my team.
It's not magic, there's a recipe to it that's pretty simple! My schedule feels manageable compared to the one I kept as a nonprofit lobbyist years ago.
I do things on my own terms now, and that is a wonderful feeling. If I work hard, it's because I choose to (and if I take an afternoon off...just because, that's my choice as well).
What's next for 2014? I'm spending less time on the road, and more time at home working with the incredible women on my team to help them perfect and personalize their "recipe" for success!
